By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 11, 2002

Robin L. Slough has been promoted to vice president of marketing and sales, a newly created position, at fabric supplier American Silk Mills.

She joined the company in 1999 and was director of sales.

John M. Sullivan Jr., American Silk's president, said Slough will have full responsibility for all marketing and sales decisions for both vertically manufactured and converted products.

She reports to Sullivan.

In addition to the high-end novelty upholstery products designed and woven by American Silk, the company also is the exclusive distributor of the Sensuede microfiber brand.
