High Point — Joan Tremlett has been promoted to director of North American operations for leather upholstery producer DeCoro, succeeding Dino DiLuca, who left the company to spend more time with his family.
Tremlett, a 22-year industry veteran, worked nine years at Natuzzi Americas in sales executive administration before joining DeCoro in June 2001. She adds operations duties to her responsibilities as director of sales and marketing, and will manage the day-to-day operations of the High Point office.
"The direction of the company won't change," Tremlett said. "Our goal is to continue to build the DeCoro brand in the marketplace with our philosophy that the customer comes first. We are a sales, collection and customer-service arm in North America for DeCoro and will continue to build on this aspect."
Tremlett reports to President Luca Ricci.
