Dane Décor unveils 4th unit

Philadelphia — Dane Décor is opening its fourth store on two floors of the historic seven-story Schmidt building in downtown Philadelphia.
The 20,000-square-foot store features the chain's signature contemporary Scandinavian and European home furnishings.
The upper level features smaller, multi-functional furniture for the urban dweller.
The ground floor offers new lines from Italian and North American vendors, spotlighting contemporary Scandinavian furniture.
Dane Décor was founded by Gloria Hamilton in Downington, Pa., in 1973 and is family-owned and operated by brothers Carl, Jesse, Hank and Drew Hamilton. They generate $7 million in annual sales and have 36 employees.
In addition to the new downtown store and the Downington unit, Dane has stores in Langhorne, Pa., and Mt. Laurel, N.J. Total square footage is about 90,000. The Web site is www.danedecor.com.
