New Classic Home appoints McPherson marketing chief

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. — Michele McPherson has joined New Classic Home Furnishings, a division of Yihua International Group, as director of marketing.
New Classic Home Furnishings is the U.S. furniture marketing arm of Chinese manufacturer Yihua.
Previously, McPherson was the national marketing director for case goods manufacturer and importer Arbek for 15 years. She will oversee marketing efforts for New Classic and for Elegance Wood Flooring, another Yihua International Group division.
New Classic, which sells to retailers and also is an OEM source, recently opened a 200,000-square-foot distribution center here to serve its growing retail base.
