Foamex restructures management

Linwood, Pa. — Foam supplier Foamex International said last week it has restructured and streamlined its management team.
Thomas Chorman, chief executive officer, has assumed additional responsibilities as president of Foamex.
Foamex said three senior executives are retiring or have left the company, and announced several other changes to its executive management team.
The company also said George Karpinski, senior vice president and treasurer, has been named interim chief financial officer.
Donald Crawford, executive vice president of foam products, East, and Darrell Nance, executive vice president of foam products, West, will retain their current responsibilities.
"I have great confidence in the new management team's ability to work closely with one another to energize Foamex, deliver fully on the promise of this company, and create greater value for our shareholders," Chorman said.
