ITMA adds 11 companies

High Point — Eleven companies have joined the International Textile Market Assn. and will exhibit for the first time at Showtime here next week, July 12–15.
Several of the new ITMA members will be located in the Textiles on 2 expanded display area on the second floor of Market Square.
"Although Textiles on 2 is still a relatively new addition to Showtime, it has been very well received by our buyers," said Catherine Morsell, ITMA director. "They like the convenience of having the majority of our newest members in one location."
To encourage participants to meet the new ITMA members, Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. will host a social at Textiles on 2 on Wednesday, July 14, from 5 to 7 p.m.
New exhibitors at Textiles on 2 include:

Elite Textiles, space MS 278-E, a print converter and jobber that supplies jacquards, chenilles, dobbies, silks, sheers, suede, tapestries, wovens and piece- or yarn-dyed fabrics.

Hanyoung Fabric Co., space MS 278-C, a manufacturer of warp knit fabrics, polyester suede, velour and other pile fabrics, lining fabrics, jacquards and fire-retardant fabrics.

Naturtes, space MS 278-D, an Italian company specializing in weaving cellulose, raffia and double-beam linen, cotton and chenille fabrics for the residential and contract markets.

New Line Fabrics, space MS 278-G, a specialist in decorative and upholstery fabrics, including classic and modern jacquards, voiles, organza and prints.

Shannon Fabrics, space MS 278-A, a specialist in imported and domestic faux furs, plush fabrics and novelty fabrics.

Tannery America, space MS 278-B, a producer of full-hide finished upholstery leather in a range of styles and colors.
Three other new members will exhibit in Suites at Market Square. They are:

Classical Elements, space SMS 1-536, specializing in fashion-forward trimmings and tassels designed and produced in Europe and stocked in South Florida for immediate delivery.

Inspirations, space SMS 1-1112, an Indian manufacturer of flat-woven jacquard furnishings fabrics.

Schmidt America, space SMS 1-1300, a subsidiary of Wollsdorf Leder tannery in Austria, recognized for providing advanced production and environmental techniques using high-quality leathers.
