La-Z-Boy promotes two

Monroe, Mich. — La-Z-Boy has promoted David Jones and Boyd Lauritsen to regional vice presidents of sales, Jones in the Northeast and Lauritsen in the West.
Jones, who joined La-Z-Boy in 2002 after nine years at bedding major Simmons, will be responsible for sales in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and parts of Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.
Lauritsen, a La-Z-Boy sales representative in Nebraska for 26 years, will be responsible for Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Washington and parts of Wyoming.
Both report to Steve Matlock, senior vice president of sales and marketing. "David and Boyd are seasoned sales professionals who have a deep understanding of the furniture industry," Matlock said. "We are certain both will be great leaders and provide ample support for their sales teams."
