Chicago casual furniture market shortens last day
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, July 11, 2004
Chicago — The International Casual Furniture and Accessories Market here, Sept. 18–22, will end at noon on the last day rather than 6 p.m., the Summer and Casual Furniture Manufacturers Assn.'s board has decided.
"The change is in response to feedback from our exhibitors," said Joe Logan, executive director of the SCFMA. "The overwhelming preference was for a shorter last day. However, with the new Saturday to Wednesday format for 2004, we did want to offer increased flexibility for retailers shopping the Casual Market in Chicago."
