Next San Francisco winter market moved one week later, Jan. 26–29

San Francisco — The San Francisco market has pushed back the dates of its winter show by one week, to Jan. 26–29, 2005.
Market officials said the later dates will allow upholstery manufacturers to show new fabrics after the Showtime fabric market in High Point earlier that month, and will give retailers an opportunity to finish year-end business tasks before market.
The new schedule follows the Wednesday-to-Saturday format that proved popular with buyers and exhibitors at the January show earlier this year. Officials said all future markets will follow that format.
Several San Francisco hotels have agreed to offer discounted rates for the new dates. Prices start at $99 per night for qualified buyers.
The new schedule affects the San Francisco Mart and the nearby Concourse and Design Center. Additional information is available from the market's Web site, www.sffurnituremarket.com.
