Harlow named VP at Trans-Ocean

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Linda Harlow has been named to the new post of vice president of merchandising at rug resource Trans-Ocean.
President Charles Peck said she will spearhead Trans-Ocean's product development and sourcing efforts, and will continue to be based in San Francisco.
A 30-year merchandising veteran, Harlow most recently was managing director of hand-made rugs at Oriental Weavers-Sphinx, launching the company¹s entry into the category. Before that, she was rug buyer at Macy's West.
