Heimtextil

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 24, 2005

Id: 3169

Frankfurt, Germany — Always the first textile show of the year and the largest of its kind in Europe, Heimtextil 2005 will be a benchmark for the new textile universe that was born Jan. 1 with the final elimination of quotas on goods from developing countries like China and India.

When more than 90,000 visitors from dozens of countries come together to review the latest introductions from more than 3,000 exhibitors, business directions for the year will be set and trends will take shape.

Upholstery fabrics naturally are part of the mix at Heimtextil, as well as ready-made home accents, rugs, kitchen and bath products, outdoor textiles and mattress ticking. Furniture/Today presents here a sampling of product introductions submitted by fabric producers exhibiting at Heimtextil, which takes place Jan. 12–15 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center.
