CJ Imports will oversee rug source Amici accounts

Randolph Township, N.J. — Charles Cashin and Jeff DeSantis have formed CJ Imports, a partnership that will oversee the management and growth of rug importer Amici Imports department store and chain store accounts.

Cashin, a 25-year merchandising veteran, most recently was merchandising manager of floor coverings at Federated Department Stores.

DeSantis is president of Amici Imports, formed two years ago.

Meanwhile, Amici has created an Amica Home Furnishings division to grow the company beyond the rug business.

Eva Di Adamo, former buyer for T.J. Maxx, will head the division.
