Foamex offers ComfortGripper

Linwood, Pa. — The Foamex GFI division of Foamex International is offering ComfortGripper, an area rug underlayment the company says has four times the gripping power of other pads currently available.
"Consumers are buying area rugs and want top-quality accessories to complement their purchase," said Steve Stockwell, executive vice president of Foamex GFI.
Made with an exclusive chemical formula, ComfortGripper has a finer, more carefully controlled foam cell structure, creating a durable, secure bond between rug and floor, Foamex said. The product is applicable to both carpeted and hard-surface floors.
Hand washable and easy to cut, ComfortGripper will not yellow or indent floors, according to the company. The padding features Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial treatment, and is available in 4 by 6, 6 by 9 and 9 by 12 sizes.
Foamex GFI makes a wide range of prime polyurethane, rebond polyurethane, sponge rubber and synthetic felt carpet cushion and underlayment products.
