Monroe, Mich. — La-Z-Boy has promoted Lee Ann Knapp, formerly design manager, to director of display planning for its residential division, and named Brian Mossor regional vice president of sales for the Midwest.
Knapp and her team will provide La-Z-Boy retailers with tools to leverage the company's brand, overseeing the interiors and layouts of new, relocated and converted La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores, and for in-store galleries.
She replaces Marshall Matt, who is leaving La-Z-Boy Residential to open his own La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store in Davenport, Iowa. A 19-year company veteran, he has been director of display planning since 1993.
Knapp, who started as an interior designer in the display planning department in 1990, reports to Doug Collier, vice president of marketing and Furniture Galleries development for La-Z-Boy Residential.
"Lee Ann brings more than 14 years of display planning experience to her new position, as well as a keen understanding of our retail system, products and brand attributes," said Collier.
In the Midwest, Mossor is responsible for all sales activity and reports to Greg White, vice president of merchandising and sales for La-Z-Boy. The region consists of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky and the Chicago area.
Mossor has been with the company since 1990, most recently as a sales representative in northeastern Ohio.
