Waxman, Kaplan honored at GNYHFA dinner-dance

New York — More than 300 friends and colleagues attended the Greater New York Home Furnishings Assn. annual dinner-dance and awards presentation last month honoring Norman Waxman, executive vice president of Schnadig, and Simon Kaplan, president of Value City Furniture, East Brunswick, N.J.
Waxman received the David Druckman Lifetime Achievement Award, while Kaplan received the Jerry Gans Memorial Award.
The gala, held at Terrace on the Park in Queens, N.Y., also was a fundraiser for the Anti-Defamation League.
