Shannon Yow, Burlington Inds.
Chapel Hill, N.C. — Shannon Yow, director of design at Burlington Inds., has died. She was 35.
Survivors include her husband, parents, sister and brother.

Tony Joyce, VP at Berkline/Benchcraft
High Point — Tony Joyce, vice president of Berkline/BenchCraft's Natural Elements division, has died. He was 47.
Joyce, who was in High Point for the Showtime fabric show when he fell ill, lived in Cartersville, Ga. He joined Berkline/Bench-Craft in 2002.
"Tony's love of the furniture industry was constantly evidenced through his passion for product design and detail," said Bill Wittenberg, president and CEO. "The industry will miss him, his talent and friendship."
Survivors include his parents and two brothers.

Mo Ani, veteran Sealy sales executive
Chicago — Mo Ani, a longtime Sealy sales executive, has died at his home here. He was 61.
Ani was with the bedding producer for almost 27 years, starting his Sealy career in Florida as an account executive. He became a field sales manager before taking over as sales manager for Florida.
After that, Ani became a member of the national accounts team. He was national account manager for JCPenney in Chicago, and was named a vice president. After that he managed a variety of accounts for Sealy, including Montgomery Ward, Heilig-Meyers, Wickes, Rhodes, Breuners and The Room-Store.
Most recently, as vice president of business development, Ani managed Sealy corporate programs with The May Co.
Myron Karp, Banner Mattress & Furniture
Toledo, Ohio — Myron Karp, 77, owner and president of Banner Mattress & Furniture, has died.
Karp purchased the business in the early 1970s when it had a single store and mattress factory. He expanded the product line to include furniture, and the company today has four stores in addition to the mattress factory.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, and three sons, Steven, David and Matthew. His sons will oversee the company, and the current management team will continue to run the business on a day-to-day basis.
