Moore fills Fraenkel post
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 30, 2005
Baton Rouge, La. — Larry Moore has joined manufacturer and importer Fraenkel Co. here as vice president of sales and will focus primarily on the continued development of the company's furniture division.
He reports to Ray Crocker, CEO and president, and succeeds Jim Burress, who is now the company's vice president of merchandising.
Moore has more than 30 years of sales and management experience and most recently was Midwest sales manager for United Sleep Products. Earlier, he worked for Bell Furniture Inds. and the Frigidaire Co.
"His solid experience, understanding of both sales and operations, and his ability to think outside the box are just the combination we were looking for," said Crocker.
Moore said Fraenkel is "service driven and will refocus on our current dealer base, yet continue to look for strategic opportunities." He said that at the Tupelo market in February the company will have an expanded, renovated space and enhanced product offerings, particularly in leather, youth bedroom and casual dining.
