L&P promotes 3 senior executives

Carthage, Mo. — Home furnishings components supplier Leggett & Platt has promoted three senior executives.
Joe Downes and Paul Hauser have been appointed senior vice presidents, and Perry Davis has been named a vice president.
Downes joined L&P in 1976 and has served in various sales management and general management posts in wire-producing operations. In 2004, he was tapped to head the Industrial Materials Segment. He will now be a senior vice president of L&P and president of that segment.
Hauser joined L&P in 1980 and has held customer service and sales management posts in Ohio and Kentucky. In 1999, he was named a vice president of L&P and president of the Bedding Group. He now is a senior vice president of the company and is responsible for L&P's bedding components operations and sales.
Davis joined L&P in 1981 and has had responsibilities in customer service, sales and plant management. He has been president of the Central Division Bedding Group for several years, and is now a vice president and officer of L&P. He also is executive vice president of the Bedding Group and president of L&P's U.S. spring operations.
