Kittle's buyer wins Showplace parking space for April market

High Point — John Carlson, senior buyer for Indianapolis-based Kittle's Furniture, has won a prize that can only be described as ... priceless.

He gets a free parking space in the Showplace parking lot for the April 2005 market. His name was chosen in a drawing held by the downtown showroom building at the October market.

Carlson was in the building to visit one of Kittle's key upholstery vendors, Berkline/BenchCraft.

"Anytime we offer a chance to win a parking space for market, we have an overwhelming response," said Allison Akes, Showplace director of event marketing. "We plan to make the semiannual parking space giveaway a tradition."
