Monroe, Mich. — La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores have opened in Nevada and New York City.
The unit in the Elmhurst section of the borough of Queens, at 89-22 Queens Boulevard, is the first dedicated La-Z-Boy store in New York City. Owned by Thomas Iuculano and his daughter Roseanne Iuculano, the unit features the company's New Generation format.
Reno, Nev., is home to an 18,400-square-foot Furniture Galleries store on South Virginia Road, also in the New Generation format. Don Gruner is co-owner of the store with his wife Becky.
There are now some 325 La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries units, making it the second-largest single-source furniture store network.
