Drexel launches 2nd Chicago unit

Lincolnshire, Ill. — Drexel Heritage has opened a 12,000-square-foot dedicated store in this affluent northern Chicago suburb.
It is the second of five planned Drexel Heritage stores in the metro Chicago market by Walter E. Smithe Furniture.
Walter E. Smithe III, Timothy Smithe and Mark Smithe are co-owners and operators of the store.
The store employs 17 designers, and is expected to draw from such nearby upscale suburbs as Long Grove, Lake Forest, Vernon Hills, Deerfield, and Buffalo Grove.
