Albanese gets new American Drew, Lea post

Greensboro, N.C. — La-Z-Boy has named Johne Albanese to the new position of vice president of marketing for American Drew and Lea Inds.
He had been the vice president of sales, working under John Gerber, senior vice president of sales. Albanese now reports to Jack Richardson, president of Lea and American Drew.
"As we continue to expand our La-Z-Boy Kidz and Kid's Generation programs within Lea, as well as introduce new marketing-driven concepts in both companies, we felt it was time to create this position to cohesively oversee all of our marketing efforts," said Richardson. "Johne has an extensive marketing background, including serving as head of marketing for several leading companies."
Richardson noted Albanese's experience in advertising, marketing and branded proprietary distribution programs.
Before joining La-Z-Boy, Albanese had been president and CEO of Interline Italia and was executive vice president of marketing for Natuzzi Americas and Bassett Furniture.
