Magnussen launches Ferrare gallery at Furnitureland South

High Point — Magnussen Home Furnishings and local retailer Furnitureland South teamed up last week to open the first Cristina Ferrare Home Collections gallery in the United States.
The gallery, which features the Bel Canto collection of bedroom, dining room and occasional furniture, is the first of several such presentations planned at major furniture retailers across the country.
Ferrare, a television talk show host, designer and author, gave a presentation to about 175 Furnitureland South sales associates. Later, she signed autographs for customers and employees for more than an hour.
Many of the autograph-seekers were clutching copies of her newest book, "Realistically Ever After," an autobiographical look at marriage and relationships.
"Cristina is not only warm and engaging, but is truly interested in learning from the women she designs furniture for," said Darrell Harris, owner of Furnitureland South.
