Culmone, DeMatteo promoted at Storis
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 20, 2005
Parsippany, N.J. — Doug Culmone has been promoted to chief operating officer and Lou DeMatteo to vice president of sales for retail software vendor Storis Management Systems.
Both are new positions.
Culmone most recently was senior vice president of operations. He worked in furniture retailing and manufacturing before joining Storis in 1997 as director of client services. In his new role, he will focus on employee development and deployment of Storis' latest Vision R8 application, while continuing to work with the service organization and in positioning the company for continued growth.
DeMatteo, who joined Storis as national sales manager in February 2004, will focus on managing the growing sales staff and recommending to the R&D department features and functions that retailers have indicated are important to their needs.
Both executives report to Storis CEO Donald J. Surdoval.
