Mulberry, Fla. — W.S. Badcock has promoted Michael Price to senior vice president of corporate retail operations.
Price, who had been Badcock's senior vice president and chief financial officer, will oversee management and operations of all 57 company-owned stores. He replaces Susanne Kastner, who left the company to pursue another opportunity.
Badcock also named Michael Ray, former vice president and controller, as vice president and chief financial officer. Steve Bargamin, former assistant controller, was named controller. And Bill Trimble was named vice president and chief information officer, replacing Leo Hurtado, who left the company.
Ray joined the Top 100 company in 2000 after working as vice president and controller for Marks & Morgan Jewelers. Bargamin has been with Badcock since 2003 and before that was controller for Quality Distribution in Tampa, Fla.
Trimble, who has been with Badcock since 1986, joined as a programmer and eventually rose to director of system development. In his new position, he manages Badcock's information technology department.
"We feel this group represents an opportunity to develop executives who will help us insure the future growth of our company for many years to come," said Don Marks, president and CEO of the 331-store network.
