Carson, Calif. — Robert Manness has joined case goods manufacturer and importer Good Companies as president of Mexican operations.
He will oversee all major operational and manufacturing areas for Good Companies, as well as all functional areas in the company's Mexican plants, Finegood de Mexico and Muebles Fino Buenos.
Manness previously was general manager of Palliser's upholstey division, where he had responsibility for eight factories in three countries with 2,500 employees. He led the launch of Palliser's Mexico operations.
He reports to President Sarah Garcia.
"Manness has both the managerial depth and the knowledge of Mexican operations necessary to take Good Companies to the next level," Garcia said. "With year-to-date bookings for Good Companies up 33% versus a year ago, we need strong leadership in our operations to meet customer demand and continue on our growth trajectory."
