Milan show will travel to N.Y., Moscow

New York — The Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy, is going international with a traveling show that will debut here in May and hit Moscow in October.
I Salone WorldWide, the umbrella label for the Milan show long noted for cutting-edge design in furniture, accessories and fabrics, will be held concurrently with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York, May 14–17.
In recent years, Cosmit, organizer of Salone del Mobile, has had a pavilion at the Javits Convention Center during ICFF. Last year's pavilion was 16,000 square feet.
This year's exhibition, Saloni WorldWide New York, will be in a separate venue at Hudson River Piers 90 and 92 and will cover 66,712 square feet.
The Moscow exhibition is set for Oct. 12–15 in 139,880 square feet of the new Crocus Expo exhibition and convention center.
Federegno-Arredo and Cosmit are the organizers of the traveling exhibitions.
