McLean, Va. — Upholstery maker Rowe Furniture says it will introduce a collection by hip designer Jonathan Adler next month in New York, but isn't releasing details.
Although he has designed and sold sofas and other home furnishings, Rowe said the line, to be unveiled March 3, will be Adler's first full-fledged furniture collection.
The designer is well known for ceramics, lighting, lacquer products, textiles and handbags in a line that includes a canister set with pieces labeled "Prozac, uppers, downers" and the like.
His furniture includes sofas retailing from $3,050 to $5,885. He also has stores in New York, California and Florida.
