Sumter, S.C. — Jeff Faw has been named president of solid-wood case goods manufacturer Sumter Cabinet Co. He replaces Dennis Ammons, who left the company late last year to join Progressive Furniture.
Faw has worked for 10 years with Sumter, most recently as a sales representative. He also has held management positions at the company, including vice president of sales and marketing and national sales manager.
Sumter plans to continue to manufacture a solid-wood domestic product, Faw said.
"We also plan to keep it readily available for our dealers," he said. "Sumter Cabinet has a dedicated group of people who take pride in producing the best value of solid-wood furniture made in the U.S.A."
Sumter Cabinet is a subsidiary of Chromcraft Revington, which also is the parent of Chromcraft, Peters-Revington, Silver Furniture and Cochrane Furniture.
