Interior Textiles taps George as vice president of sales

Greensboro, N.C. — Scott George has joined the Interior Textiles division of International Textile Group in the new post of vice president of sales and marketing for its Cone Jacquards, Solar Cone and Burlington Contract businesses.
George, who had been with Tietex, reports to Derrill Rice, president of the Interior Fabrics division. The division includes Burlington Contract and Cone Jacquards as well as the mattress fabrics and decorative fabrics businesses. Dennis St. Louis and Myron Bass remain vice presidents, sales and marketing for those businesses, respectively.
The company recently brought together the Cone Jacquards, Solar Cone outdoor fabric and Burlington Contract as one business unit within the Interior Fabrics division.
Larry Wright, formerly senior vice president of Cone Jacquards, is working on new product development for the division.
