Executives

Shoppers Charge Accounts

Mahwah, N.J. — Robert J. Noren has been promoted to senior vice president/chief operations officer at private-label credit card provider Shoppers Charge Accounts.

He will continue to direct the company's credit, customer service and collections, and assumes responsibility for special projects and compliance. He continues to report to President Tom Nelson.

Noren joined SCA in 1997. Prior to that, he was director of asset management for Sears, Roebuck and Co.'s credit operations. He spent 29 years at Sears Credit.

Marketing

DOTI

Barrington, Ill. — Margaret Lacki has joined DOTI Franchising as director of merchandising and display for the chain of franchised Designs of the Interior stores.

She has 20 years experience in merchandising and design, working for such companies as USA Baby and The House Store.

Sales

Heritage House

New York — Heritage House Fabrics has reorganized its sales staff after the purchase of International Textile Corp. last year.

George Kirsche and Oscar Reig-Plaza will represent both Heritage House and ITC, Kirsche in the Northeast for retail and manufacturing and Reig-Plaza in the Southwest.

Jeff Rocque will represent both divisions in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and Virginia for retail and manufacturing channels. Anna Gehrken will handle furniture sales in that territory.

Others handling ITC sales will be Roselyn Hull in the Midwest, Joe Lehrer on the West Coast and Steven Friedman in Florida, Alabama and Georgia.

Orleans Furniture

Columbia, Miss. — Dan Ide has joined Orleans Furniture as vice president of national accounts.

He was formerly vice president of sales and marketing for Relax-R. Prior to that, he was a national sales manager for Riverside Furniture.

L.A. Mart

Los Angeles — James R. Nahin has been named director of leasing at the L.A. Mart. He will be responsible for the leasing of permanent gift and home furnishings showrooms and will report to Gerry Seibel, vice president and general manager of the L.A. Mart.

He replaces Margaret Powers, who has joined L.A. Mart owner Merchandise Mart Properties Inc.'s 7W New York leasing team.

Nahin was previously responsible for gift and home leasing at the California Market Center.
