2nd Kincaid store debuts in Calgary
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 13, 2005
Calgary, Alberta — Kincaid Furniture, a provider of solid wood case goods and custom upholstery, has opened its latest Kincaid Home Furnishings store here.
Located in the heart of Calgary's "furniture row," the 7,000-square-foot store on 46th Avenue SE is the second Kincaid store for owner Cam Davidson.
"Before our opening we set strong goals for increasing our Kincaid sales," said Davidson. "The store layout and beautiful selection have been so well received — we've already surpassed expectations."
Todd Hady, Kincaid's vice president of sales and marketing, said the new Calgary store is valuable to his company's brand-building initiatives.
"Cam Davidson continues to prove how attractive the Kincaid solid wood story is to consumers across Canada," Hady said. "He has been a productive partner of ours for more than 10 years and we are proud of his accomplishments and his plans for the future."
Kincaid was founded in 1946 by George and Wade Kincaid in Hudson, N.C.
Products are distributed through independent retailers, dedicated galleries and a growing network of stand-alone Kincaid Home Furnishings stores.
