Masco honors Akzo Nobel with supplier award

Taylor, Mich. — For the third consecutive year, home products resource Masco has honored Akzo Nobel Coatings under its Masco Supplier Team Award Recognition program.
Masco, which owns three companies that make ready-to-assemble furniture, says the MASTAR award recognizes leadership, communication, commitment and cooperation of suppliers and is based on performance measures.
Alan Barry, Masco's president and chief operating officer, said, "Akzo Nobel shares Masco's dedication to quality products, people and services."
Rad Darby, senior vice president of industrial wood coatings at Akzo Nobel, said the two companies "continued to work together in finding solutions to the many challenges facing our industries."
