F/T adds blogs to Web site
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 20, 2005
High Point — Furniture/Today has updated its Web site to feature the latest tool in communication — the blog.
The blog format lets readers talk online with the paper's editors and writers, and also communicate with others in the industry. Each day readers can tune in to the Web site at www.furnituretoday.com and join in discussions covering a diverse range of topics.
"We're hoping the blogs will allow us to build an online community with our readers, and look forward to giving readers, editors and writers a chance to interact easily," said Ray Allegrezza, editor in chief.
This week, the site features the Editor's Desk with Allegrezza, Bedding Today and Furniture Sketchbook with Executive Editor David Perry, and Retail Ideas with Loreen Epp, who heads the newpaper's new Retail Ideas department.
To reach the blogs, click on the Weblogs button at the top of the main page. You can read columns from our editorial staff, then respond by clicking on the "Add your comment" button at the bottom of each blog entry.
Comments are posted each day, so responding to the blogs lets you communicate not only with the editors and writers, but others in the industry. The Furniture/Today site attracts several thousand visitors a day.
