AICO promotes Ploy to EVP, Santanello to VP

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 10, 2005

Case goods resource Amini Innovations Corp., or AICO, has promoted Martin Ploy to executive vice president and Jeff Santanello to vice president of sales.

Ploy had been vice president of sales and marketing and Santanello was director of sales.

Michael Amini, AICO chairman and CEO, said the promotions are a result of the importer's growth in recent years and the addition of new divisions.

"It is important that we try to utilize Martin's experience, knowledge and reputation to bring organization, focus and consistent synergy to our changing and expanding company," he said.

AICO is introducing its AICO Office Systems products at the High Point market this week, and will launch an upholstery division next year. Chris Carter, director of office systems, and Laurie Phillips, director of upholstery merchandising, report to Ploy, as does Santanello. Ploy reports to AICO President Larry Rinaldi.

"Jeff will be able to spend more time focusing on our key retailers, working with our sales representatives and managing the dynamics, growth and productivity of our business," said Ploy.
