Lifestyle, Art Deco on the rise
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 10, 2005
True contemporary looks, new takes on lifestyle collections and a healthy dose of Art Deco are toning down the brown this spring in mainstream furniture showrooms. Traditional offerings continue to favor clean, architectural lines over super-abundant carving, and many lines get a welcome shot of color. It adds up to a nice follow-up to the fresh styles that debuted in October. Sources hope the shift will resonate with consumers when the new product hits retail.
