Stein World fills 3 executive spots

Helps manage recent growth

AT THE MARKET -- Occasional specialist Stein World is at market with 120 new products and three new executive positions.

Earlier this year, Stein World promoted Mat Marsh from vice president of sales to the new post of executive vice president. Marsh has been in the industry more than 20 years and with Stein World for five."Our company is growing at a frenetic pace," said Andy Stein, president and CEO. "Utilizing more of Mat's expertise in operations and merchandising at this point of our growth phase is imperative."To fill Marsh's previous position, Stein World has created two new posts and hired two new executives, both of whom report to Marsh.Dave MacIntosh, vice president of sales and procurement, previously was vice president of sales and merchandise for importer Powell Co., where he worked for 17 years in various posts. He lived in Mexico for eight years overseeing production and quality control.David Stein has been hired as vice president of sales/western region. He also remains the western regional sales manager for Emess Design Group, a sister company of Stein World.
