Dobbins joins Kemp Enterprises

At the Market — Jim Dobbins has been named vice president of sales at case goods importer Kemp Enterprises. He replaces Ted Philpott, who joined Pennsylvania House earlier this year.
Dobbins, a 32-year industry veteran, most recently was director of East Coast sales for Kimball Home Furnishings. Prior to that he was with American Drew. In his new post, he reports to Randal Smith, vice president of marketing.
"We are excited to include Jim as a key player as we expand our retail relationships across the country," said President Bill Kemp. "We remain focused on providing market value to our dealers and increasing our sales effort in support of the retail partnerships we develop. Jim will be a great coach and catalyst in that effort."
North Carolina-based Kemp specializes in wood bedroom, occasional, dining, youth and entertainment furniture sourced in Asia and Latin America. It is showing here in space 500 of Market on Green.
