Butera Home Furnishings

High Point — Tiffany Olsen has been named national sales manager for high-end California upholstery manufacturer and retailer Butera Home Furnishings.

She replaces Nikky De Lemos, who left earlier to pursue a career in the movie industry.

For two years, Olsen has been retail sales manager for Barclay Butera Inc., where she focused on special orders, purchasing and customer service.

"We are very excited to have Tiffany in this role," said Haleh Fardi, Barclay Butera Inc. chief financial officer. "Nikky created a wonderful infrastructure, and Tiffany's sales focus and exceptional organizational and managerial skills will help take the operational efficiency of this team to the next level."

High Point — Brian Parker has been promoted to national sales manager for upholstery maker LeatherTrend.

Parker, who joined the company two years ago, was sales representative for the northern Texas area. Earlier, he was involved in retailing in Oklahoma City.

His new responsibilities at LeatherTrend include managing the sales organization and broadening the dealer base, particularly to second- and third-tier customers.

He reports to Bryant Dickens, president of LeatherTrend/LeatherMart, and Bill Pirtle, president of EasyTrend, the motion division.

Before joining the Seattle-based company, McAdams spent 33 years in the furniture industry, both in retail for 15 years and with such major manufacturers as Bassett, Hickory White and BenchCraft.

  • Randy Javorski and Justin Javorski, Lake Forest Park, Wash., have Washington and British Columbia.

  • Elaine Monaco, Beaverton, Ore., covers Oregon.

  • Kim Voy, San Francisco, serves California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii.

  • Atlanta-based Ryan Dease and David Montgomery will handle Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.

All report to Steve Bailey, Schillig's vice president of sales and marketing, who said, "Expanding our sales force and making some internal changes was necessary to better serve our customers."

American Leather

High Point — Tom Edmonds has joined Dallas-based American Leather and American Upholstery as Southeast territory manager.

Edmonds, who was a writer and contributing editor to Furniture/Today for 12 years, is responsible for retail accounts in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and northern Florida.

Based in Roswell, Ga., he reports to Casey Jones, national sales manager.
