Rosenberg retools its team

Enfield, Conn. — Sales specialist Gene Rosenberg Associates and Planned Furniture Promotions has retooled its management with an eye on expansion opportunities, adding a tier of regional managers and bringing back a former employee.
The company also aims to reduce confusion by putting the emphasis on the latter part of its name.
Now going by Planned Furniture Promotions Inc., an affiliate of Gene Rosenberg Associates (online at www.pfpromotions.com), the company will continue to be led by Roy Hester, who was promoted to national vice president of sales, and Burt Homonoff, promoted to national vice president of operations.
Hester previously was national sales manager and Homonoff was national operations manager.
Mark Bannon, who first joined Gene Rosenberg in 1976 and left in 1998, has rejoined as national marketing and account manager. He will manage sales and operations and assist with branding, marketing and promotion.
Promoted to regional managers were Bobbie Pine and Arvin Pine, for the Northeast, with the company since 1996; Christopher Adoninan, Midwest, a 20-year industry veteran; and Les Diehl, West Coast, a 30-year industry veteran.
In addition, Kurt Earlywine, who leads a furniture and Oriental rug auction house, has also been named PFP's national auction manager.
Founders Gene Rosenberg and Paul Cohen will continue to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company.
The reorganization will strengthen and add depth to the company across the country, Hester said.
"With the advent of larger national chains and manufacturer store programs, there will be growing opportunities for a truly national promotional organization," he added.
PFP's services include inventory buying, planning and management, sales staffing and financing.
