Webinar offers sustainability training preview

Sustainable Home Furnishings Council also offers full course

HIGH POINT — The Sustainable Home Furnishings Council will present a free one-hour preview of its Greenleaders Certified Sustainability Training in a webinar at June 30.

The presentation will take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time.

Greenleaders is a six-hour course is designed to give manufacturers, sales representatives, retailers and designers certified training in green home furnishings.

A full webinar course with accreditation will be offered as six one-hour presentations on consecutive Tuesdays beginning July 7. The six-hour course also will be offered on-site during the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market at AmericasMart on Monday, July 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cost of the entire series with accreditation is $299. Participants in the full program also will receive 25% off first-year Sustainable Home Furnishings Council memberships.
