Event celebrates completion of Cantoni House project

DALLAS — A cocktail reception, co-hosted by Metropolitan Home and Cantoni, is scheduled from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Thursday to celebrate the completion of the premiere Cantoni House: Axis.

According to a joint news release from the two companies, Axis illustrates Cantoni's vision to create a one-of-a-kind home that marries modern architecture and the Cantoni collection of furniture by utilizing the resources of the Cantoni Design Studio. The home will feature Bontempi Cucine kitchens and Miele, Gaaggenau and Sub-Zero appliances, as well as state-of-the-art Lutron lighting.
The Axis house is located at 5903 Lakehurst Ave. in Dallas. Hosts for the evening will be Ellen Thompson, Metropolitan Home city editor; Michael Wilkov, chief energizing officer and Cantoni founder; and Pogir, lead designer for Cantoni House.
Notable guests include NFL star Deion Sanders and wife Pilar, stars of their own reality show, Prime Time Love on the Oxygen network; Dallas Stars' center Mike Modano and his singer/actress wife Willa Ford; and Victor Almeida, CEO of Interceramic, a U.S. and Mexico tile company.
