Lane opens 2 Showcase galleries

St. Louis — Lane Home Furnishings has opened two in-store galleries at retailers in Alabama and North Carolina.
W.A. Akins and Sons Furniture in Fort Payne, Ala., has opened a 10,000-square-foot Lane Super Showcase. The family-owned business, which has been in operation since the early 1920s, features 185,000 square feet of showroom and warehouse combined. The business spans four generations with current co-owners Kerry, Jason, Scott and Chris Akins.
In Waynesville, N.C., Carolina Furniture Concepts has opened a 15,000-square-foot Lane Super Showcase within its 35,000-square-foot store.
Owner Sandeep Gupta opened Carolina Furniture Concepts in 2002 with a store in Asheville, N.C., and expanded to the Waynesville area in 2007.
