By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, June 22, 2009
Willowbrook, Ill. — Industry veteran Chad Megard has rejoined Comfort Solutions as vice president of sales and business development.
Megard, a 20-year mattress veteran, first joined Comfort Solutions in early 2006 as vice president of sales, but left in 2007 to hold various posts at the former Spring Air Co. That producer ceased operations last month.
In his new post at Comfort Solutions, Megard will be based in Minneapolis and will focus on U.S. business development, reporting to David Binke, executive vice president of sales.
"We're extremely excited to have Chad back at Comfort Solutions," said Dave Roberts, CEO. "We are now fully staffed to execute all of our strategic objectives, which include strengthening our sales performance with current retail customers, substantially growing our customer base and focusing keenly on retailer needs."
Megard's previous bedding experience includes work at Sealy and Serta on the wholesale side, and at retailer Slumberland in Minneapolis.
