WELLAND, Ontario — A new life-sized sculpture of Leon's Furniture founder Alban Leon in Chippawa Park here is popular with local residents, according to a report in the Welland Tribune.
Some worry about possible vandalism to the bronze sculpture, which shows the Canadian retail pioneer seated on a sofa in a setting that also has two armchairs and a coffee table. But residents also said they're proud of the artwork and said it fits in well in the scenic park.
