Far East sources headline TIP

Brussels, Belgium — China and other Eastern countries head the exhibitor list for the Textiles d'Interieur Premiere 2005 fabric show in September.
Of the 86 exhibitors already committed to TIP, 28 are from China, 38 from India and Pakistan, and 11 from Turkey. The remaining exhibitors are European, American, New Zealand and other Far East manufacturers.
Andy Green, managing director of TIP organizer Trade Link Co., said the show, which runs concurrently with Decosit in Brussels, "provides an ideal platform for worldwide manufacturers of high-quality upholstery fabrics and ready-mades, and we continue to see an increased presence from the growth markets of China, Turkey and Asia."
Trade Link said the TIP show already is more than 80% booked, with its new Hall Two completely sold out. The new hall will increase the net exhibition space by over 1,000 square meters, or about 10,800 square feet, from last year's show.
"We've seen TIP go from strength to strength over the past 13 years, both in terms of the quality of the exhibitors and its presence in the international textile exhibition calendar," Green said.
