Greensboro, N.C. — International Textiles Group said it will close its Cone Jacquards facility in North Carolina's Rutherford County and move that weaving business to the Burlington House plant in Reidsville, N.C.
Both Cone Jacquards and Burlington House are units of ITG.
The Rutherford plant employs about 200 people, and some will be relocated to the Reidsville facility, said Delores Sides, ITG director of corporate communications. Some equipment also will be moved, she said.
The Reidsville plant has capacity for mattress ticking as well as top-of-the-bed fabrics and contract.
