Cleveland — Finish supplier Sherwin-Williams' president and chief operating officer, Joseph Scaminace, resigned May 31 to take the top post at chemical maker OM Group.
The 52-year-old Scaminace spent 22 years with the nation's largest paint manufacturer and had been president and COO since 1999.
He also resigned from the company's board. The company said Chairman and CEO Christopher Connor will assume Scaminace's responsibilities, adding the title of president once the board approves the change.
