Hoyt Highfill & Associates promotes Thul

Monroe, La. — Promotions and liquidations company Hoyt Highfill & Associates has promoted Don Thul, longtime Southeast regional manager, to vice president and national sales manager, a new post.
The move follows the recent death of company President Bud Highfill, son of Hoyt D. Highfill, who founded the company 45 years ago.
Hoyt Highfill is the company's chairman, president and CEO. Al Carrothers continues as executive vice president and chief operations officer and Connie Highfill, Bud's wife, remains secretary/treasurer.
"Our sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to the furniture industry for the tremendous outpouring of compassion expressed to the company and in particular the Highfill family following the sudden and unexpected death of my son," Hoyt Highfill said.
