De Leo, KETS expanding fabric line

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, June 27, 2005

De Leo Textiles and its Turkish mill partner KETS are expanding their upholstery fabric line at Summer Showtime here July 10–13.

To make their presentations more efficient, the companies will share a 1,000-square-foot booth, space 1206 at Suites at Market Square.

DeLeo CEO Craig DeLeo said the company had a successful April market with more than 50 placements with 17 upholstery manufacturers, including Drexel Heritage, C.R. Laine, McCreary Modern and Sklar Peppler.

"We are establishing a niche for ourselves in a competitive fabric marketplace," he said.

Established in 1962, DeLeo Textiles is a distributor of furniture, multi-use and automotive textiles. It offers more than 300 traditional, transitional and contemporary SKUs.

KETS (Kadifeteks) is a 35-year-old company with a 63,000-square-foot plant in Istanbul with capacity to produce 15 million meters annually.
